"What's the matter?" Chase asked, eating the piece of gun right out of her hand. "Thanks..." He leaned down and kissed her lips gently. His hands still shaking.

Skylar kissed him back taking his hands in hers. "Are you okay Mintie?" She asked her eyes filled with worry.

"I'm okay." Chase said, not wanting to lie to her anymore. "I'm just under a bit of stress, I mean, I moved into the asylum, lost all my friends, gained new ones, fell in lo-like, and almost died. It's not normal stuff." He said, his minty breath touching her face.

Skylar nodded in understandment "I guess, but I don't know what stress really feels like" she said then looked down fixing her dress. "Unless I have an attack that's usually from stress, but its unknow by me" she explained in a softer than usual voice.

"I read your application." Chase said, indicating that he already knew this about her. He ruffled her hair, and then ran his fingers through his own.

"Where's Celestine?"

Skylar sighed and fixed her heair "damn you" she said with a pout.

"So you stalked me huh?" She teased lightly.

He laughed, and mussed up her hair again, ducking in case she decided to swat him. He poked his tongue out.

"Yup, you intrigue me." He said, lightly and at the same time completely serious.

Skylar left her hair like that while sighing "I'm going to shove sweets down your thoart" she joked fixxing her hair.

"How so?" She asked not taking him seriously.

"I'll puke on you." He said, popping a minty bubble at her. He chuckled and started to braid her hair.

"Because you're you. I like you-like, like like. You're the first person I've ever wanted to be close to. The only person I might possibly maybe love...probably. That's how."

Blood Raven walks into Ward A female rooms

Skylar laughed "gee that's awesome" she said sarcasticly.

Skylar froze up once h he said something about love. "Your kidding right?"she asked praying he was. "You couldn't possibly maybe love me" she said. "It would be a mistake, I'm not good with this stuff" she said holding on to her head, the room was starting to spin. Her beathing sped up and she held onto the wall.

He smiled down at her.

"Woah, you okay?" He asked, letting go of her hair and placing one thin hand on her shoulder. "I was partially serious. I've never felt like this, so your the first girl that I might love." He said reassuringly. "That doesn't mean we'll be together forever..."

Celestine had been standing in the corner, he was holding a paper by his index finger and his thumb, he looked as if he was reading it intensly. He saw Skylar start to feel faint, he ran up and held onto her shoulders.

Raven giggled at Celestine and Skylar, she smirked showing her fangs!

Celestine sat Skylar down on the bed beside Chase, "Can I help you", Celestine said, glancing at the new girl across the room.

Skylar layed down "yeah just started to painic" she said looking at Raven.

"Hello" she said plainly.

Raven giggled sinisterly "Hello!" Raven answered

Chase's eyes were wide, his hands had started to shake again, and he was shoving his mouth full of gum. His usual sign of stress. Only this time he was angry-and at himself. He had almost driven Skylar to insanity. He turned his head and began to knock it against the wall repetitively.

Raven laughed at Chase "what are you doing?" she asked

"Eing ressed." He answered, the gum obstructing his ability to talk.

Raven just laughed devilishly

Skylar sighed "stop freaking out" she said putting her arms around his waist protectivly. "Now spit that huge wad of gum out" she said closing her eyes.

"M sowwy." He said, resting his head on top of hers, and putting another stick of gum in his mouth.

Raven just stood there gracefully watching Chase and Skylar feeling ignored and alone

"Hi, Raven." Chase said, then turned back to Skylar.
